Why we exist

Squad Up Society was founded by Masa — an active-duty deputy sheriff who spent years showing up for people on their hardest days. Off duty, he kept seeing a quieter emergency: hardworking owners pouring everything into their shops, restaurants, and practices while thousands of dollars a year quietly drained out the back door to card processors.

Nobody opens a business to become an expert in interchange fees. Most owners never learn that some processors lock them into contracts, bury junk fees in their statements, and count on them being too busy to notice. We started Squad Up to end that — to take the whole payment side off your plate so you can run the business you actually set out to build.
